The GOG version actually leaves a lot to be desired. There is music available in the other versions, but apparently the original DOS version lacked it. There are patches you can add to put it back in as well as VGA graphics, but I couldn't get them to work properly.
It's a shame I couldn't get the Apple II version working with mockingboard sound, since that's probably the closest to "Lord British's" vision.
