umm what can I say...
As i mentioned the polish localization of Baldurs Gate was done by CD Projekt. They started as game publishers on eastern europe and they had to cope with enormous piracy during so called "transformation" (to open market, post1989). On a side note i think the fact that many firms or simple people had access to newest programs/games (pirated because of lack of laws, funds and legit sources) accelerated enormously modern development of my country and others from so called "eastern bloc".
Anyways CD Project realized that the only way to sell games in this environment is to make proffesional localizations with top theatrical actors combined with generous game boxes full of gifts and gadgets. It seems they stayed with this attitude to customers to these days. Sadly it seems so anachronistic and rare in todays gaming world.
