I don't know enough Trump to tell if he's just a blowhard (a term I see often used to describe him) or a great man. I think to be great you have to take great risks, and naturally some of those will result in spectacular failures. The point is that somebody who strictly plays it safe and plays to the middle (Obama) will never really be great. From what little I've seen of Trump, I don't get the impression that he's wishy washy or overly concerned about ruffling feathers.
Unfortunately, this whole thing with the "birthers" just turns me off completely. I don't think it should matter what country you were born in--that's why we vote, to decide for ourselves who's fit to be President. Even if Obama had been born in Kenya, why should that matter? It's not like he had a say in it regardless. The fact that Trump keeps "hammering" on this stupid argument pretty much makes him either an idiot or hate monger in my book. It'd be different if he had more legit criticisms to "hammer" on.
