anima.... ah to be a bit

anima.... ah to be a bit younger like most of you and have had the ability to see it on TV.. all my early anima was BADLY dubbed imports.
Lupin the III (movies are gnerally good, but TV series is crap)
Gunsmith cats
or the really really early stuff 28-Go (first mech stuff i ever saw)
and of course yamato .. when i was in grade school late 70's) had a friend with an uncle in japan, he would send us dubbs on VHS tapes (had to send tapes back then 2 expensive not too... and my buddies mom was a teacher so we used school VCR to watch um..)

But Im more of a 90's person and the standards
Neon Genesis Evangoline
Ghost in a shell
Outlanders (personal favorite)
COBRA
Gilgo 13
Riding Bean

Nowdays there is some awsome stuff too
Samurai Chomplo
Blood (tv seris, just not sure of yet)
Samauri 7
Cowboy Bebop- also a favorite

here is a little TRIVA.. ASTRO BOY is somewhat considered the grandfather of modern anima (not first but most succesfull)... The creator gives all the credit to ....... Scrooge Mcduck cartoons.. the HUGE EYES! tiny mouths (not he duck bills but other characters in the series) , the standard of ANIMA are all based on DUCKS!!!!!! :)
