Back on original topic, I gave in to my stupid side and even though I am broke......I ordered a GAMEBOX last night. Ah well, sadly I am hearing here and there (now that I ordered) that you might not actually be able to load anything except GBA/VIDEO from the SD card, hoping that is not true but we'll see.
Yeah, if you check that forum link that I posted, you'll see that it appears that at least the one guy has not been able to get anything except that to work, but there appears to be hope for a hack to allow anything to be put on the thing. That would solve that problem and then some, i.e., improve the sometimes spotty emulation.
As I mentioned at the start of this topic, I've been burned waaay too many times by these things to bite anymore. It's just not worth the energy. When something has been put through the ringer sufficiently, though, I'd happily purchase...
