Farmville side: Plant crops, harvest crops, get cash and buy swag.. level. Basically grinding. D&D side: Explore areas, kill monsters, get loot and buy items.. level. Basically grinding.
Over simplified explanation, perhaps.. but the basic game-play motivators are the same.
Well, you never said if she "understands" why you like D&D so much. And, has the end result been that there is less "commenting" about your D&D game time?
