Nice job, MaximumRD. I'm becoming a fan of the ColecoVision after getting to play Wargames over at Bill's house. :)
Lord of the Dungeon sounds very interesting!
Here are some screenshots for Lord of the Dungeon: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/151433-cv-lord-of-the-dungeon-images/ . It's a Wizardry-like RPG for the ColecoVision by Probe 2000, the name that the Magnavox used for its third party gaming operations. They only officially released one game, War Room, which plays a bit like Coleco's Wargames, but is different enough to stand on its own. For a first game, it was of tremendously high quality and showed an unusual mastery of the system. Unfortunately, back in the day, "chip shortages" were blamed on Probe 2000 not releasing any more games (they planned on doing Pink Panther, Power Lords, and more on various systems, though various prototypes do exist and are playable), and then the crash happened and then no one released any more games.
Lord of the Dungeon was apparently all but ready to go, though they still had to track down bugs with saving games via the battery backup, as occasionally (apparently) it would corrupt the save file. Barring that, it would have been the first ever cartridge game with a battery backup by a good number of years. A reproduction was released in limited numbers back in 2000. Finally, a new reproduction is imminent, this one on a super high quality scale like you saw from the other homebrew releases at my house: http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/151433-cv-lord-of-the-dungeon-image...
Luckily, until the reproduction is released, we'll be able to play it once our SD cartridges arrive. I'm looking forward to it, though I've been waiting so long to experience it that I'm sure I'll be disappointed to a degree because I've built up so much anticipation.
