As a summer fun project, I've been trying to write a text adventure game using Inform 7. Sadly, as allegedly easy as it is, I've been stumped several times already by some seemingly simple tasks that I just can't figure out how to implement. If anyone is familiar with the language, can you help? I'd also like to know if anyone is interested in writing games for the upcoming IF competition. I want to write my own game, but would love to compare notes with you if you want to design one, too.
