Fight Night 3 on Xbox 360 is quite different from the versions for Xbox, PS2 and PSP. I also have it on PSP. It's coming along great, though both versions I have, be it for Xbox 360 or PSP KILL, KILL, KILL my thumbs. It practically cripples my hands and makes my thumbs very sore. It's just that type of game and control scheme I guess, even though for Xbox 360 it's primarly a dual analog stick affair and PSP analog nub and buttons.
I actually love the difficulty. It defaults fairly low, making it easy to pretty much blow through the game. That sounds cheesy, but for me, that's fun, since I can only play in bursts of a few hours a day at best, a few days a week or so.
In any case, back to the original question, you can't really compare next gen Fight Night to "last gen", as EA did the same thing they did with all their other games and just redid the engine and everything from scratch, so some features are missing from the one for older systems and some features are new or different. Regardless, I give the slight edge to the 360 version, since it obviously has incredible hi-def graphics (for the most part, some visuals I don't care for and there's some clipping in replays) and more sophisticated AI, making the bouts a bit more strategic. It's funny too in that the later you get into the game - meaning the more your boxer rises in the ranks - the more advertising becomes prevalent. Again, I don't mind because it reflects the reality of it all, but it is quite present.
