How is it "wasting time" if you enjoy it? I only consider time "wasted" if I'm being forced to do something boring and useless like waiting in line or being stuck in traffic. I do agree 100% though, the installation procedure takes a long time to download and update. My guess is that it would take at least 2 hours to get this thing installed from scratch. Of course, you don't have to stick around the computer during that time, since it's automatic for the most part. Blizzard isn't the only MMO that does this (they all seem to do it!!), but why the heck don't they pre-patch their installers? Just doesn't make sense to me.
On a side note, Elizabeth (my wife) has started to play after the $5 deal. I'm not getting my hopes up to high that she'll stay with it, but she seems to be really enjoying it so far. She pipes up each time she levels to let me know. :)
