@Chris: That's where I heard about it, too. I decided to review it based on your suggestion as well as a sort of super shout out to Shane R. Monroe, who really did a lot for the gaming community. I really enjoyed his show and often posted in the forums there (under the name blacklily8).
I know a lot of hardcore folks here would probably rather play Ultima or Phantasie, but I think Legacy is a good choice if you're curious about playing an old school classic CRPG but haven't played any before. It's relatively easy to get a C-64 emu up and running, and the fact that you can play the entire game with a joystick is quite nice. There aren't many turn-based CRPGs that I know if that make it easy for you to control it with a joystick!
