Much of the footage was shot for a proposed documentary called: "SO YOU WANT TO BE A VIDEOGAME DESIGNER.
If you're doing a serious history, you'll want include the real story of the early US arcade years. Which is easier said than done; since much of what is currently disseminated by the current manufacturers ican sometimes be erroneous second - hand misinformation.
This is because, unfortunately, after Williams Electronics bought BALLY/MIDWAY in the late eighties, much of the information about early Bally/Midway hits developed in Chicago ( Tron, Discs of Tron, Spyhunter, Sarge, Demolition Derby, Rampage, Xenophobe, Arch Rivals and more) was lost; since virtually none of the Bally Midway Management Team made the transition. In point of fact, only two Bally/Midway designers were asked to stay on: myself (Brian Colin) & Jeff Nauman.
So if your doc covers any of these early years, you may want to check out the Personal GameHistory page at http://www.gamerefuge.com/alongtheway.html for more information
