He he, well MATT I knew my video would surprise some people as I never voiced my opinion on genres before. That said I guess "hate"
can be a strong word. You see, more than likely I will try Jade Empire and I am sure I will like aspects of it. As for games you mentioned like The Bards Tale, Pool of Radiance etc, I tried and played them all because I just love games in general. I have tried over and over but as soon as the "battles" begin I my eye's just glaze over and boredom sets in lol! I feel restricted that I cannot just start swinging my sword in real time. So it's just that one aspect, the the turn based battles I cannot get into. As I said though, I love games and gaming in general and though that one aspect may not appeal to me I am not blind to how others can be drawn into them, I like hearing about them and when you do your videos I am just as fascinated learning about games I personally enjoyed as much as the ones I didn't, I've read detailed articles about the history of many such games and found them really interesting too. I was actually surprised all the comments on Youtube from people who feel the same way as me, I was honestly expecting to be slammed hard for daring to say I didn't like RPG's for the most part lol! I feared the wrath of Wizards and Warriors alike ha ha. It just goes to show that peoples taste in games is as diverse as music, movies, sports etc.
