Wii Fit for Dummies: Since it's a "For Dummies" book, what are the chances that it will be widely available in general bookstores? I imagine that the prospects are good for a wide release (i.e. I can pick it up at Barnes & Noble).

Wii FitNESS for Dummies now. It changed scope to incorporate the three products+ after Nintendo dropped the Wii Fit Plus bombshell as we were nearing completion on the original Wii Fit for Dummies. And yes, it's a major Dummies release and will be available everywhere Dummies books are sold. This one will be shelved in the fitness section. We just found out today that because the schedule is going to be so tight (two of the software titles covered in the book won't be out until October), it's going from color to black and white. It will have an 8 page color insert and a slight increase in page count. A full color book would have taken too long to print and we would have missed our scheduled publish window. It sucks, but understandable given the situation.

Playing Games (Lux Digital Pictures): You guys did a large amount of posting about your experiences at the video game/electronics convention (I forgot the name of it), but then, only a trickle of info on the progress of the movie since. From my standpoint, it sounds like the progress of the movie slowed way down after the convention. So what's really going on? Is it being steadily worked on, or is it something that gets done in spurts?

Well, we took vacation time to go away and do the interviews in March because that would be our only opportunity to get them. Those were conducted pre-script. Since then the script has been written. Once a draft of that got approved, we've been doing the media captures for the editor/director to work with. This is still ongoing. I'm estimating another month or two at least, so this probably won't finish the editing process until the end of the year.

Vintage Games and Dungeons & Desktops: Just how are these books doing, anyway? Obviously they aren't selling in Harry Potter numbers, but are they "successful" in the genre they are targeted at? I hope so.

It's too early to tell on Vintage Games as no sales numbers have come back. Once I know, you'll know. I suspect it's selling well for a variety of reasons, and yes, not Harry Potter well, but technology book well. Maybe Matt can shed some like on D&D, since he got one round of sales figures back I believe.
