Thanks, Rob. Bill -- I share your sentiments. It's already cheap for a PC game, but I'm sure it will be on sale for $20 in a few months or possibly less as some kind of download deal. I've heard it's better to get a download anyway, since the copy protection is rumored to be some of the most invasive and destructive out there. I'd rather get the Wii version, but I doubt the price will fast nearly as quickly (it's still $40 last time I checked). This is one, though, that I'd really like to have brand new and in collectible shape.
I'm not really too enthused about Ghostbusters III. I didn't like II for the same reason. My thought is that Ghostbusters was great because it was new and really refreshing. Everything came together in a very nice package; greater than the sum of its parts. I just don't think you can do that movie again, or a sequel, or whatever, and capture the same magic. I'd much rather see that talent harnessed for a totally different kind of movie. Let's see Ramis, Murray, and Akroyd do something totally new. These guys are amazingly talented and must have thousands of great ideas. I'd be much more excited about that than revisiting Ghostbusters.
