P.P.S. there was lots of buzz a few months ago about the upcoming "Ghostbusters" game for the modern consoles that appeared to bear no resemblance to the classic 8-bit game. The videos I've seen of it (which allegedly had voices of the original cast) looked really cool, and apparently the game was the catalyst to re-inspiring the cast to do another "Ghostbusters" movie.
It's been out for nearly every platform and has gotten great reviews and sold quite well. The PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions are similar, though the PC version forgoes multiplayer, the Wii is its own more stylized variation, and the DS version is said to be somewhat similar to the original Activision game. I'd love to get a version, but I'm already backlogged with games. I definitely will when they hit the budget aisle, though.
