Oh man, this takes me back. I remember playing the original Gauntlet in a little convenience store near the pier in San Clemente, CA. I was usually the elf. I really enjoyed your analysis of the economics behind the game design, which of course never occurred to me when I was ten. Excellent production values on your video, BTW -- watching it full screen feels like cable.
