Here's what I wrote on the Amazon blog for the book:
While there will apparently be a slew of formal reviews posted sometime soon, it looks like the first one out of the proverbial gates is in the queue at Slashdot, linked here. Whether it gets through Slashdot's approval process is anyone's guess as those things tend to be hit-or-miss, but the review is actually well written and does a good job of "dissecting" the book. My only return criticism of the review is there doesn't seem to be a mention of the ultra-high quality of the color images, only a remark that there might be too many. Obviously without knowledge of our behind-the-scenes machinations, the reviewer has no way of knowing that we cut images, not text, so you're getting 100% of the text and fewer images. Don't forget, though, that both the extra images and extra chapters not found in the book are available online, for free, at the book's official page at Armchair Arcade, linked here. Enjoy and let us know if you see any other formal reviews anywhere. Thanks!
Yeah, definitely help, guys, thanks!
