Hopefully you'll just need to make a few adjustments on some knobs (screen, bright, contrast, color, Vertical controls, horizontal controls, etc) & that will solve everything. You should have a few knobs available in there. Could be some of the adjustments are up too high after shipping. I have a bad habit of jumping to the worst conclusion rather than starting with the simple things.
You may still end up replacing capacitors (requires soldering skills). That's generally good for improving picture quality, anyway.
I already had it open and those adjustments were available just like any arcade monitor. There were two pops, which caused the screen to go from normal to that. The adjustments don't do anything anymore. I'm going to file a claim with UPS (or at least try to) and also take some photos with the cover off. That should make things clearer.
I'll need someone to help me with the monitor repair though. I'll have to try and find someone who can do that.
