Actually, first....

Hopefully you'll just need to make a few adjustments on some knobs (screen, bright, contrast, color, Vertical controls, horizontal controls, etc) & that will solve everything. You should have a few knobs available in there. Could be some of the adjustments are up too high after shipping. I have a bad habit of jumping to the worst conclusion rather than starting with the simple things.

You may still end up replacing capacitors (requires soldering skills). That's generally good for improving picture quality, anyway.
