I agree 100% with the comments about the UMD. Just flat out nutty.
The reason I went DS was simply that I knew Nintendo would have some fun games for it. If all else fails, you know if you go Nintendo you will at least have at least a few fun Mario and Zelda games to play, because Nintendo will see to it. That said, I've yet to get either a Mario or a Zelda game for the damn thing. :)
The PSP might have some fun stuff, too, but I was put off by the device, which seems much less durable than the DS. I love being able to close up the DS and not have to worry about it, whereas my brother (who has a PSP) has to pack it lovingly in a slipcase and seems to fret constantly about people dropping it during gameplay.
I wonder if they'll ever make one of these things with goggles again? Or did the Virtual Boy eliminate that possibility?
