The 'Disc' format of the PSP is what is putting me of

The PSP's disc-format is really offputting to me. I was contemplating on getting a DSi (what's that with the i? Wii, iMac, iPhone, DSLite, DSi) as my white DSlite has a broken hinge (it is cracked but stable). It would be the 3rd DS that I would own and that is enough for me to not be buying one.

I will wait for the Pandora to be in my hands and then perhaps make another decision.
