If only we can figure out a way to get you on one of the G4 channel's game-oriented shows....
(P.S. there doesn't appear to be a link to the Amazon VG book in the Gamasutra article(s). Is that against the rules at Gamasutra?)

It's a bit subtle, but the link is at the top of the first page of all the articles, like in this one for Tony Hawk (the bold area is where they place the link):
"[In the latest in a series of Gamasutra-exclusive bonus material originally to be included in Bill Loguidice and Matt Barton's new book Vintage Games: An Insider Look at the History of Grand Theft Auto, Super Mario, and the Most Influential Games of All Time, the duo presents a history of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater, the game that popularized a niche genre and sparked a host of imitators in the early part of this decade.]"
As for the G4 thing, who knows? Really the only appropriate show they have left that I know of is "Attack of the Show". Maybe if the documentary turns out well and gets proper distribution (maybe even running on G4 or better), that will be the trigger to get us more mainstream exposure. Still early in the process, though, so it's best for us just to be along for the ride.
And just to respond to your other point, yeah, I certainly don't want to overdo the promotion for "Vintage Games" on Armchair Arcade, as I certainly don't want anyone to stop coming, but being able to contribute other material at this point is a bit difficult with all the stuff going on, but I hope that doing some stuff during the week of GDC 09 will make up for that. I just really wanted to point out that I'm aware I've been hitting the one note lately and that I'll do my best to broaden my horizons at bit as I'm able.
Vintage Games book!
