What's funny is that if you go back in time far enough, it was men who carried "purses," usually filled with coins. I think that faded as paper money became more standard, since it could be stored in a "bill fold." Of course, women seem to need more stuff on their person, such as tampons, makeup, etc.
What I don't understand is why there's a stigma associated with men carrying purses. Why is that considered "gay" or less masculine by some? I mean, if it had flowers or was pink, okay, but I don't see anything "gay" about these manbags.
