I must say, everyone who has seen this book has been impressed, usually saying something like "I want one!" The presentation is really so nice, and people love flipping through it and saying "Oh, I played that!!" and so on. I showed it to my friend John (Dr. Madden) here, and he was like, "What?? Where's Dino Wars for the TRS-80!" I had to laugh at that.
ha ha. Yeah, hopefully the Preface will disarm most of those why isn't game "x" in there with its sound reasoning, though I'd certainly be happy to add whatever to the online bonus images if it's warranted. No reason not to take advantage of that option.
Speaking of the Preface, I think it illustrates nicely why the margins in the chapters themselves are the way they are. As my wife put it, it keeps the reader from being hit with a "wall of text", which is what the non-illustrated Preface does. The readability with the main chapters is quite high because of the white space for captions.
Finally, everyone that either I or Christina has shown the book to has been blown away by how nice the thing looks. You and I were both worried about production values and certainly went out of our way to provide high quality materials to do our part. Needless to say at this point, the publisher certainly did their part!
Vintage Games book!

Dino Wars (Dinowars) is pretty cool all things told as it was among the first Radio Shack Color Computer games: http://nitros9.lcurtisboyle.com/dinowars.html
