LOL, well, thanks for that, Rob! You made my day. You wouldn't believe how many people think something like this is easy, when in reality it's a lot of work getting all those games to run and getting the facts, screenshots, etc. Even when you love this stuff as much as we do, it can get frustrating. However, a few nice words makes it all worth it!!
I don't know if it's clear or not, but Mark designed the cover graphic for Vintage Games. In a way it's the first truly "Armchair Arcade" product; all three of us worked on it. I would like to continue that collaboration!
Anyway, I would love to win the award, since it would no doubt drive sales and add legitimacy to this sort of project. We've had to deal with publishers who didn't "get it," and that was tough. A.K. Peters really took a chance on and I appreciate that immensely. As much as I love VG, it wasn't our original idea--they rejected that and gave us another project instead. That turned out to be great, but it just goes to show that even "noted" authors can struggle to find a publisher.
