It seems that this is going to come out to about the same price as the Chameleon 64 cartridge.. so I may wait for that to be released before I decide on which one I want to get.
It's hard to justify these charges for a 25+ year old computer. :-)
Yeah, I've seen Chameleon, but it seems like there's no set ETA. I figure between the MCC and the 1541 Ultimate II, I'll be covered. You're correct about these charges, it does reach a point of being too much. If I had forsaw most vintage systems getting all these flash devices and transfer cables and what-not - most of which I ended up buying - I would have been more conservative in getting all the disk drives and original hardware that I did. I would have probably been a bit more conservative on the boxed software purchases as well. It's a whole different strategy.
