Yeah, I remember this one. Sundog Systems was another CoCo software company that developed a lot of arcade clones. I think they outlasted Tom Mix Software and Diecom as well; their ads were running in Rainbow magazine up to its end.
RPG-wise, I don't recall any others they did, but they did do a Legend of Zelda clone, a Ninja Gaiden clone, and I think Gauntlet II, all for the CoCo3, so they had 16-color graphics instead of 4.
I remember a review of Paladin's Legacy in Rainbow as well. The reviewer wasn't a regular CRPG player; he got bored with the game about halfway through and quit. He noted that the food system was particularly bothersome. An aspect of earlier Ultima's I didn't care for much myself, actually.
