Lemonade 2nd error also on Windows XP Professional
Alas the second error was also displayed when I tried to install Lemonade on my Windows XP Professional system
Perhaps it is a Flash-plug-in related issue? I have good hopes the beta Lemonade might function properly on my XP system though. Let's see. Well YES it does function properly.
Loading some compatible adf-based games from within the game database functions well and it closely resembles just shoving in a 3.5" disk into the Amiga drive and just boot & play. It - for a large part - takes away fiddling with the configuration files on WinUAE.
More preliminary conclusions:
- Lemonade really doesn't work on the Vista machines I have access to.
- Lemonade does function properly on the XP machine, despite the FLASH.OCX installation error (I pressed ignore to continue installation). It simply is a breeze selecting and running the game you want.
- But Lemonade doesn't make for easy CD32 emulation just yet. Just selecting the CD32 configuration from the Quick-start option that is found in the first tab of Lemonade main screen doesn't automatically get me into the well known CD32 welcome screen, nor is my CD-game recognized. And from the game-database menu it is not possible to launch the CD32 game because they are listed as - unplayable - . One can of course change this by fiddling with the settings and switching the game to playable, but that rather makes it very much like fiddling with WinUAE.
