Sounds like yours definitely came with component cables, Frank, so you're all set (especially if you set and can see the HD resolutions in your 360 video settings). Your receiver or TV would need to support optical audio for you to bother with it anyway. Look here: http://img381.imageshack.us/img381/328/cableswitch5ia.jpg. The optical audio port is to the right. It's the audio connection that shines (red) light to send its signal. You need your own cable to plug into that.
