Bill, you probably like Space Giraffe as much as I like EA Sports-games ;)
It's just a visual mess. EA sports games are too unapproachable for some of us, but at least you can usually tell what's going on! Also, I really wanted to like Space Giraffe, while I'm indifferent to EA's sports games...

I think it might be a case of people remembering "Frogger", as an example, vice Space Giraffe. I'd bet that alot of folks that buy XBLA games are in the 30+ age range and buy based on what they remember being in the arcades or on their old consoles as a kid.
Curious to understand what you mean by EA sports games being "unapproachable" for some folks. I consistently buy and "try to play" Madden "enter the year". I love the game series, however, it has gotten beyond my capacity for grasping the button combinations. I buy the games out of love for Madden, but, end up only playing them a few hours before becoming frustrated and move on. Seems like every year they add some complicated new passing, or other, feature. I tried playing online a few months back and got my you-know-what spanked big time!!
