Xbox 360 text input controller for Messenger compatible client

Microsoft is going to include a Messenger compatible IM client in the Spring X360 dashboard update. It will be controlled by this interesting looking device, a modified controller with added keyboard. It seems to be some sort of click-on keyboard to fit a standard X360 controller.


It seems to be legit, and it was mentioned as early as 2005. Look at this slide of a 2005-Mexican Xbox360 presentation where future expansions were mentioned. Interesting stuff.

I am wondering what it will retail for.
