I played a lot of Jumpman and Jumpman Jr as a kid, and even collected a nice boxed copy of the latter for the ColecoVision relatively recently, but these were never particular favorites of mine, though I do consider them classics. I found them a bit frustrating and unforgiving at times, which kind of ruined a bit of the overall effect (though I loved the "shots" that changed direction to hit you -- wonderful idea there). I much preferred the early Lode Runners to this, though of course those got brutally difficult after a while too.
